June 3, 2010 by Lisa Oshima | Advertising, Contest, Developers, Events, Mobile, MonetizationSocialize Mobilize has a handful of free tickets to give away to the upcoming 2010 UPLINQ Conference taking place in San Diego, CA, June 29-July 1, thanks to our good friends at Qualcomm and The Wireless Industry Partnership (WIP)!
UPLINQ is a two-day mobile conference with a business track, a technical track, keynotes by executives from Qualcomm, AT&T, Verizon, etc., and a special, beach-themed mini WIPJam (full conference agenda here). As an added bonus, Qualcomm has organized discounts on hotel and airfare and a huge party featuring a special performance from the band, Train (of “Hey Soul Sister” fame).
So, if you were looking for the perfect excuse to hit the road for business to hobnob with the movers and shakers in the mobile industry, this is it.
Here’s how you can get a free ticket to UPLINQ through Socialize Mobilize:

I recently picked up the Tweetlist app for iPhone OS. Even though I've paid for other premium Twitters apps in the past and my main browsing application, Tweetie, is effective for list management in terms of adding users and the like, I would recommend purchasing Tweetlist simply for the list browsing UI. If you're a heavy list user on the iPhone, the marginal initial latency in browsing from list to list will definitely save you time.
Lisa,
Hope to see you at Uplinq. Here's a tip for smartphone users. Ribbit app for iPhone allows users to keep their mobile number and provide find/follow to any numbers that they choose. Voicemail is transcribed to text and sent via e-mail or sms.
The grace period on my iPhone does not expire until next weekend. I plan
to give it up. Until then I'm enjoying the selection process.
Are there any free tix left? Here is my tip:
Use PdaNet for Android in Verizon to Tether your laptop and smartphone. The App is available via Market so I guess Verizon is allowing it. App is free!
