I get more and more skeptical of Google Android as time goes by. I know I'm not the only one that feels that way. Wondering with all the smart people they have there, if they realize how the public perceives Android.<br><br>Also, I'm interested how the Palm Pre enters into the game. Will it reinvigorate the old developer community? Or will it create a new mobile developer community of widget developers that never considered developing for the mobile before? I'm a new media artist working in out of home sites using large scale digital projectors to transform public spaces into immersive virtual environments. I am passionate about interactivity and UGC and have built these into my art practice.

I've just become a visiting research fellow at the Mixed Reality Lab in Nottingham University, UK where I am exploring how to connect out of home creative experiences with online technologies via the cell phone.
